| The TODAY Show | ||||||
| NBC's The TODAY Show was visiting us this past week to tape for an upcoming segment. Their crew was here for our first Chardonnay harvest, and Correspondent Anne Thompson joined us on Saturday September 24th to interview both Peggy and Greg. The segment will focus on our Victories Rosé for Research campaign, and will be airing on Monday October 3rd (subject to change) sometime during the program between 7 am and 10 am. | ||||||
| Harvest Update | ||||||
| On Thursday September 22nd we harvested 80% of our estate vineyard Chardonnay, which was a great way to kickoff the 2005 harvest. We began picking at first light when the grapes were cool, and took the Chardonnay in small picking trays directly to the winery where it was hand-sorted and put directly into the wine press. We are very happy with the flavors, sugar and acidity of the fruit, and are looking forward to the resulting wine that will come from it. We plan to harvest our Syrah from the Madden Ranch in the first week of October, with our remaining harvests occurring over the next month. |  |
