On Thursday November 8th we picked our last grapes of the year – Syrah from Zabala Vineyards near Soledad to make our 2007 Victories Rosé.
This set a record for the latest harvest in our short five year history. We all felt it was a good decision to allow those grapes to
achieve the flavor maturity and structure that we want for our premium Rosé. All of our previous harvests are now finishing fermentations
in barrel where we will keep close watch on them and their development over the winter months. During “harvest season”, approximately
75% of the actual winemaking work occurs, so we are very excited to have the 2007 vintage under our belt.
Our 2006 Victories Rosé is sold out. We have received wide spread acclaim for our Victories Rosé (90 points in Wine Enthusiast Magazine)
and we will always strive to achieve the standards we have set. Our next release of Victories Rosé is slated for next spring. We’ll keep
you informed in this newsletter as the release date approaches!
