| Wine Enthusiast 90 Point Score - 2008 Victories Rosé | |
| In the last issue we announced the 92 point score on our 2006 Madden Ranch Syrah awarded by Wine Enthusiast (publication date August 2009). To add to this great news, our 2008 Victories Rosé received 90 points by the same publication and the announcement will appear in the Wine Enthusiast September 2009 issue! Consider this wine a double bonus – a great wine for an even greater cause. Since the 2004 vintage of Victories, we have donated over $20,000 to charities supporting breast cancer research and awareness, an average of $2 per bottle. Wednesdays June 24th through August 26th – Jazz on the Plazz in Los Gatos – stop by our Tasting Room to get your favorite wine to enjoy with some of the best jazz music at this outdoor concert series. Our Tasting Room, located just steps away from the Los Gatos Town Plaza, will stay open until 6:30 pm on these evenings and will have your favorite summer wines chilled and ready for you. Friday, June 26th - Join Greg and Peggy in Southern California to taste and purchase Fleming Jenkins wines. 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Pavilions in Newport Beach located at 21181 Newport Coast Dr. For more information, please call (949) 718-4990. Saturday, June 27th – Roger's Gardens in Corona del Mar, CA – Greg and Peggy will both be there for wine tasting and to sign bottles from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Saturday, July 11th - Wine Club Party at Greg and Peggy's from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm – Wine Club members will enjoy Greg and Peggy's hospitality at their estate vineyard and home in the hills above Los Gatos. This is a great opportunity to enjoy wine, appetizers and the Chardonnay vineyard tour at the location where the idea of “Fleming Jenkins” was transformed into reality. **This event is SOLD OUT** Saturday, July 11th - Second Saturdays in Los Gatos – over 100 businesses throughout Los Gatos will have special offerings and sales throughout the day. Fleming Jenkins will offer a 15% discount on any 4 bottle purchase and include a complimentary eco-friendly reusable wine tote to carry them home. Saturday, July 18th – Santa Cruz Mountain Winegrowers Association Passport – Join us at our Tasting Room for this quarterly event! For more information, please click here. Sunday, August 2nd - St. Michael’s Alley in Palo Alto – Greg and Peggy will be hosting a Winemaker’s dinner at this popular Palo Alto restaurant. Look for details in next month’s email newsletter.
