| 2006 Black Ridge Vineyard Syrah Release | |

On December 5th, in conjunction with our latest Wine Club shipment, we released the 2006 vintage Syrah from Black Ridge Vineyard in the
Santa Cruz Mountains. The Black Ridge Vineyard Syrah has a lively interplay between fruit and spice aromas with cranberry, blackberry
and dark cherry intertwining with scents of vanilla, brown sugar and wild mushrooms. Flavors of blueberry jam and sour cherry layered with
spice box and cinnamon evoke bygone memories while the lush tannins allow this wine to complement hearty meat dishes. Your patience will
be rewarded as this wine evolves in years to come. The 2005 vintage of this wine received a 90+ point review from Robert Parker, and we
are just as fond of this vintage.
