Bottling
Last Wednesday, December 14th, we bottled two wines: 2005 San Francisco Bay Syrah Rosé and 2004 Jenkins Vineyard Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay.

Our initial release of 2004 San Francisco Bay Syrah Rosé sold out quickly last summer, so we decided to increase our production from 23 cases to 75 cases this vintage. This is a rich, balanced wine with abundant fruit aromas and flavors. Even if you think that you don’t care for rosé, Greg guarantees that you will like this crisp wine. In fact, we stand behind all of our wine. We offer a 100% money back guarantee on any wine that isn’t up to your expectation.

We are pleased with the second bottling of Chardonnay from our estate vineyard in the foothills above Los Gatos. The 2004 Jenkins Vineyard Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay exhibits aromas of tropical fruit, pear, and a touch of creamy vanilla. The mouthfeel is balanced, boasts a crisp acidity, and ends with a nice mineral finish.

Look for these wines to be available in the Spring of 2006.

We close out 2005 by thanking all of you for following the inaugural year progress here at Fleming Jenkins, and wish all of you a meaningful and prosperous 2006.

Happy Holidays,

Greg & Peggy
and the Fleming Jenkins Team (Ryan, Pam and Tammy)
