| Victories Rosé |

In late July, on Peggy's 57th birthday, we announced the mid-September release of Fleming Jenkins Victories Rosé. This is a wine with a cause, created
especially by us to raise funds for breast cancer research. Retailing for $50, Victories offers the opportunity to give as good as you get --- a full magnum
of delicious rosé, each bottle individually packaged in a wooden box. We will keep you posted on ordering details once the wine is available for purchase.

| Wine Club Promotion Winner |
|
Last month we held a contest for our club members to win a 3 Liter bottle of our 2003 Madden Ranch Syrah. We hand-bottled only a few of these reserve bottles,
all signed by both John Madden and Peggy. On the day of the drawing, NBC11 was here taping an In Wine Country show, and they taped Peggy pulling the lucky name
out of a silver bucket --- and the wine club winners were Ray and Leslie Robidoux of Los Gatos. Congratulations!

| Getting Ready For Harvest |
|
The 2005 harvest is right around the corner and we are finalizing plans for another busy season. Our estate vineyard Chardonnay is showing good cluster development
and gradually building sugar and flavor levels. We just got back from a trip to our friend John Madden's Livermore Valley Syrah vineyard, and were impressed
with what we saw there too. On the North coast, our 2004 Bordeaux Blend from Trio B and C Vineyards in Napa Valley is aging well in the barrels now, and we are very pleased with what
we taste. Harvest is an exciting time for us, and we enjoy the long hours knowing that the end results are all worthwhile!
